That is probably more than you will ever need. Now saying that, it also depends on what you are doing. If you are also hosting your website, Alla, wiki and such and you get enough web bots hitting your database all day long it can make a difference. I sometimes see my MySQL instance consuming two cores but I currently have 16 cores on that VM. If you are doing just the EqEmu hosting then you will never hit the mark unless you have plenty of people spreading out of many zones.
