Is there by any chance a movement to make a EQ realistic DB? I would think that if we got a group of people creating a database zone by zone it wouldnt be too impossible. Is it feasible to break it into chunks and have have them all merged together in the end? Im assuming things like item lists and stuff are fairly static so parts may already be done. My dream would be to have fair amount of the classic quests, full wandering zones with aggro, and just an overall sence that you are on a live server.
Were the first DB's had coded or was it made with a packet sniffer or something?
