Thats the way I look at it. I figure everyone has an entertainment expense, and I compare the amount of time spent doing something versus price. So , lets say you are a casual EQ gamer and you play 10 hours per week, thats 40 hours monthly. So, the cost per hour of EQ is 22/40, or around 50 cents an hour.

Now, lets compare a movie. Student rate ticket, and a drink. (6.00 ticket, 3$ drink, or 9 dollars.)

As a movie lasts around 2 hours, 9/2, = 4.50$ per hour.

So, on a comparison basis, eq is 9 times cheaper than a movie entertainment wise.

Also, looking at your list, you list 30$ on a cell phone. A cell phone is a luxury, not a staple, unless it is a business requirement..

I don't consider eq to be expensive by any stretch of the imagination, I think its about the cheapest entertainment you can come up with. The electrity required to run the computer is probably more expensive than the game itself, the biggest expense of it IMHO is in time, not money.
