I posted a problem I was having a little while ago (Still having the problem) Where i can play on my lan server juts fine and i can play on the EQEmu servers but if I try to set up a public server.. Everything goes ok until after I create a character and try to log that character into the world. I looked at my World.exe to see what was happening and it loads my character up, sends me the guild information... but then it says the character has diconnected and boots me back to the server connection list. I know I have EQEMU set up right... The last time i posted this question some guy replies to it by saying.. "If you are useing WinXP forget trying to run a public server". Is there a reason for this.. Should I install windows 2000 on one of my PCs so I can run a public server?
Any good answers to my problem ???
