LAN Patch Server?
Hi all,
I'll be co-ordinating a 200+ player LAN in Newcastle Australia in a few weeks, and The thought of an EQemu server has crossed my mind. I have a server up and running, and would like to offer its use to the players during the 3-day lan.
The problem I face is that the clients won't be patched prior to arriving at the LAN. Internet access will nto be available to client machines at the LAN. The only solution I forsee, is that if the patcher can be 'immitated' or reproduced for local LAN usage?
Thoughts... ideas ?
