You're a moron. The people who develop and run EQEmu owe you nothing, stop acting like you're getting ripped off. You're getting exactly what you pay for.

If you had a reading comprehension level above that of a 6th grader, you would've realized they likely aren't going to require everyone to pay to use the patcher. They took it down so they could implement an account system so people have to sign up to use it (just like they do to use EQEmu), so they can have better control over who leeches files from them, whether it be someone from another emulator project or any of the countless morons who run EQLive and EQEmu out of the same folder so they have to keep re-downloading the files every time they want to play on EQEmu, which sucks up the bandwidth you're not paying them to use.

You give them nothing in return for all the hard work and free services they provide for you. Unless you want to host a patch server for them (no, your DSL or cable modem won't cut it) or develop your own EQ emulator, you're in no place to curse them out. Grow up.
