Maybe you didn't notice you don't start with the book anymore?
You have to go through some dialog with the Priest of Discord first. The only way to accidently become PvP now is if you don't read anything PoD says and type the key words.
Then it's your own fuĉking fault for being such a dumbass. :mrgreen:
