I've used search but I can't find any kind of solution to my 1017 problem. I'll lay this down for ya if it helps:
Windows XP
Editted eqhost.txt to this:
[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
}
And I use eqgame.exe to get in (typing patchme in the shortcut). I haven't downloaded anything else that is used (I have eqwindows but I get the same results so it's not useful). That's all I did. Now I just double click on the shortcut and log in fine. I just can't access the servers.
