the problem with this "fritz chip" is that it takes away any freedom associated with the home computer (which is thier intention). But let's think about this for a sec. ALL teens across north america want a personal home computer for what? for homework??? i think not. it's to download music, pirate movies and programs, and rebel by giving big corporations the "middle finger". The problem is, if this chip does pull through, and there is no way around it, teenagers will no longer want a home computer. (except maybe to play computer games, but the games on playstation, x-box and game cube are currently more advanced). I think the industry is shooting themselves in the foot...
