I used these maps to play, I didn't know about showeq, until after I stopped.
I now use these for worldbuilding...
I use these to check mob spawn locations, and look at the map to see what we are missing in unpopulated zones. I find the maps very useful. Here is the link. Be forewarned all maps are thumbnailed however at the top you can download all in one .zip format. I have not had any problem using these with LIVE, or the emulator.
