Actually you were right.. It WAS the monitor driver... Here I am doleling out tech help and cant even do something as simple as install the proper driver for my monitor. No, there arent any adverse effects at that resolution just pure widescreen huge resolution (read tons of desktop realastate) hehe... What I didnt realize that was the problem, is Samsung has TWO drivers for this monitor, not ONE driver that will handle both analog and digital.. but one for both... And I didnt have the digital driver installed.. It is semi-confusing, as you have to BE in digital mode to install THAT driver, and vise versa on analog... sheesh you would think that they could at least put that in the manual... Thanks for the help.... <slinks his dumass away with tail between legs> (Wait, I have a tail?)
