I know most of you dont like tigerdirect.com but I was looking to (when I get the money) to make about 3 of these computers. Only 2 for servers though probably, unless things actually get somewhere.
1800+ Athlon XP w/ Mboard (5pci slots so not bad) - $50
300W case w/ 5 - 3.5" drive bays - $24
512Mb PC2700 RAM - $60
CD-ROM 56x - $18
HD I plan on getting used ones for around $20 and I have a spare moniter I plan to just float around amongst them all.
But I did find something cheaper than an Xbox now
and less work to, not to mention much better!
