i had the same problem, but what i did was use the same pw/user in every place it asked for one...eventually (some how) my EQEmu user/pw worked (nadr man, etc).
Looking back now, if you did the "grant all privileges on *.* to username@localhost identified by 'password' with grant option; " command, everything and anything you put in will work, i think. I just did "k" for user and "k" for pw and it worked.
