I'd like to second this sentiment.. Too many people are out there bashing the devs and not letting them know what a great job they are doing. With an everchanging game client, I can only imagine the challenges that are faced with every patch where sony decides "oh hey.. while we are at it, lets change all the op codes so our changes not only screw our live clients but screw everyone building better code than we can build with emulated servers are screwed too..." I think you guys are doing a great job at trying to keep up with their changes.
Like others, I'm looking forward to a new
official release, but understand that it takes time and several unofficial DR versions to get there (doesn't help when SOE throws a major client change in the middle of the development process)...
At any rate, don't let the noobs who are clueless about what it takes to develop an application of the magnitude of an eq server get you guys down. There are plenty of us lurking in the forums that think yall are doing a great job...
