Hey! AOL's not that bad... I have to keep it so my ex can use it for her dial up account.. Sometimes in the boonies, no one else has local access numbers.
AOL is good for what it does, providing a simple layer over the top of the net, and making an easy interface... My 65 year old mother wouldnt be able to navigate the net without it! It really does make it simple for the layman.. Personally, I use it when Im out of town on business with my laptop, they have local access numbers in every major city, and who the heck wants to pay long distance charges when you have 3 hours of telneting to do from a hotel room.
Its not the best, but it serves it's purposes...
