I'm optimistic and hope this guide with pretty pictures will prevent the influx of questions about how to connect. NOTE: If you are getting a timeout error on one of the non-5.8 loginservers, YOU ARE SCREWED. DON'T ASK FOR A FIX, IT'S ILLEGAL AND INVOLVES WAREZ.
