For a long time i have played everquest normally, with normal graphics, but everyonce in a while (usualy when i need to download more files using the patcher) the loading screen is all blurry and then once you get through to the char selection screen, the screen flickers and the graphics arent too good at all. Make sure your vdo drivers are up to date.... Once that is done. Experiment turning things off one by one, until you see the problem is resolved... If this method doesnt solve your problem, you PROBABLY do need Sony assistance...
