There have been two changes since 5.7 that I know of. The cfg change - the zones no longer use the zonename.cfg files, it's taken directly from the zone table in the db. And also the AA table changed a bit and a new table was added in addition to it. You should be able to find all of the sqls(and even info on which sqls in the changelog) in cvs.
