Thanks for your very swift reply.
I attempted what you suggested and if i try to run world.exe from a cmd window it still opens it up in a new one and instantly closes it!
C:\>cd eqemu
C:\EQEmu>world
C:\EQEmu>cd..
C:\>EQemu

C:\>cd eqemu
C:\EQEmu>dir world.exe
