Eqemu and Isboxer

Hi there - I am running an eqemu server for EQ. I have a buddy who is complaining that on my server 3 of his 6 screens with Isboxer lag really bad while the other 3 are fine. I am curious if this is a known issue between eqemu servers and isboxer or specifically related to his setup? He says on eq live he has no issues running up to 18 characters. Thanks
