Default Getting an error trying to log onto any server using project EQ host

This just started this evening. I tried logging onto the "Dreth" server, which is only accessible using the "projectEQ" host connection, and got a "Error 1017" which "indicates a loss of connectivity to the patch server. As a test, I attempted to log onto a different server (Heroes Journey), and get the same message. I then attempted a 3rd server (Solo Media), and received the same result. I then attempted to log on using a different client set-up that uses the normal "eqemulator" host log-in, and it works just fine.

Am I missing something and the port changed for the Project EQ host? I'm currently using:

#Host=login.eqemulator.net:5999
Host=login.projecteq.net:5999

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: I thought it might be a client issue, so I messed around and grabbed a fresh client, and only updated the "eqhost" file, but I'm still getting the same error. I don't understand what is causing this issue, as I can see that people are able to log into the servers on that host. I can only get as far as the server selection, but when I try to log onto a server, it goes to the blank black screen that would usually transition to a load screen, but the transition never happens. It just sits there for over a minute, and then I get the error message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure your firewall or router is not blocking port 5999. Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall to test the connection.

UPDATE: I was able to find the issue. It was server-related, and not on my end. The server admin was able to track the issue down and solve it. This thread can be deleted.
