Having problems doing the step 4. when i put in patch me it says not vaLID MAKE SURE the target and patha re correct. plz help

It should look like this:

C:\EverQuest\eqgame.exe patchme

or this

"C:\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

of course with the correct pathway of you everquest directory

If that doesnt work go download EQWindows (www.eqwindows.com)

I dont think i have eqgame.exe/ the one i found the properties dont look at all like the one on step 4 and u cant change where it starts and target point is.

Open up your eq dirctory. Right click on eqgame.exe or just eqgame. There is an option to send to: Desktop (create shortcut). Click on that, then change the shortcut you just created on the desktop to match what it says in the guide... ad patchme at the end.

You should have eqgame.exe. If you cant find it try re-installing EQ.

As for not being able to change the target, you need to create a shortcut for you to be able to do that.

Only way you can play EQ is with the EQGAME.exe...

Try checking in Program Files\Sony\Everquest.

Or click Start>Search>For Files or Folders and typein eqgame.exe =)
