Setting up merchants

Okay so I need some help with this... trying to set up a merchant who will sell some random stuff on my lan server. I know how to edit the items the merchant is selling (eqadmin) but how do I actually add the merchant to the DB? When I #spawn a merchant it doesn't make it permanent.

Same way you add any other mob. Once it is spawned you do a #npcspawn create on it.

You have to assign what items your merchant will sell from inside the database.
