I keep gettin the timeout error, I tried the 5996 and 5994. Same thing, how do we tell what version were running?

I have the EQ Platinum edition and i only installed the classic version and then updated for 4 hours of all the updates ...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Clint

Besides using the search function you could also go back to eqhost.txt and delete all spaces behind the path, that's the most common reason for that issue.

Trying to get on & getting this error.

my eqhost.txt file is

[LoginServer]
Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994

No spaces behind the 4

Any ideas? What else am I missing?

I meant that I don't have any spaces behind the 4

And whats all this 5.9 dr2 stuff?

Should I be running something else besides Everquest?

Make sure you have no space after [LoginServer] either.

Try downloading my eqhost.txt which I know works and overwrite yours with it:
