i know i have read them fully i had a server completly up and running for 3 days till i had to reset my router then i was fucked ... with mimilogin i am on the same comp as the server i dont want anyone else to play on it just me the only thing i am doing with it is building it quests , items , you name it

everyone says to use it online and just lock it that would be nice again the way i had it but i keep getting that damn 1017 error and i have been rereading EVERYTHING to try and get rid of it i have all the correct ports forworded and everything

i have even went to here and did this again
http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17370 it wont let me overwrite it so i had to make it a txt file

evenutaly i will get it figured out i hope

its not that i want to run a big server just something for me and my fellow AD&D pals and always enjoy creating quests and such hehe

If you're going to be running the only client on the same PC as the server software, you can just use 127.0.0.1 for all of the IP address settings (i.e. don't use the box's network IP).

Don't know if that's applicable to you, but when I was trying to get set up using a client on the same box as the server, using the box's network IP instead of 127.0.0.1 or localhost in any of the config files either gave me a 1017 or else the ever evil "unknown error".
