Maybe add in a new column in the npc_types database for attackspeed. I am trying to simulate raid mobs on EQlive but i cannot get near the correct dps they put out. only way to do this is by increasing their max damage but that just makes them able to kill you in one round instead of attacking very fast with quads letting you live long enough for a ch rotation to keep ya alive. Or implementing something like the #haste command but for targets. Sorry if this is already in or I am missing something but i could not find anything like this.

Currently there is nothing in the database to differentiate mob attack speed. You might be able to increase their attack speed if they have a haste item as part of their loot table, but even then I'm not certain. About the only surefire method is have them cast a self haste buff.

this is a valid thing to add to npc_types... when I get time.

That would indeed be very useful :)

That would be great. Take your time though, I understand you may be very busy.

or you should do what i do, cause i have this problem with raid mobs too, just have one of there spells they cast a haste spell, so when people enter the zone the mob automatically cast's it on himself, so it brings his attack speeds up depending on what haste spell you use.

This is on CVS right now and has been for a couple days now, and works perfectly...
