Nice it works great for me just get one op code shown when you hit the play button but does not seem to interfer with connecting to personel server. still have the other issuses talked about in support but thats another thread. Great work on this.

I am getting this very same error reported to me in minilogin.exe.
I have tried playing on other 0.6.2 servers with no problems whatsoever, but when i try to host my own via minilogin, i get the above error and the client hangs before it gets to character select/create.

I have done some searching for what the 0x0003 opcode is... came up with nothing. I had a different opcode problem that i solved by coping the opcode info from the opcodes.conf file that came with the 6.2 binaries. (the minilogin opcodes.conf and the binaries opcodes.conf files are different... are they supposed to be?) but i still can not find anything on what the 0x0003 is supposed to be.

I am at work otherwise i would post all my .ini file contents... any ideas from the peeps who have 0.6.2 servers running?

i would double check all your settings as that unknown packet does not interfer or has any side effects to connecting. it works fine for me with the unknown packet so double check all your settings and info.

That's what I did .. I doubled checked everything.

Still I'm getting the error and I cannot log in to game.

a good utility if you don't know your ips host name http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Hostname.html

I use the Minilogin but I still see no servers. What I am I doing wrong?

Minilogin is for LAN servers not public servers meaning you should only see your own. If you meant you can't see yours make sure world is connecting to minilogin, you should see something like this.

I'm bored at work so I did a lot of forum crawling. About Jarin's post history: ....wow. I feel moderately honored now that I know his first post in over a year was to make fun of my spelling. LOL. So much for trying to be nice to others. And what was up with that Christian stuff huh? I mean, I am religious, but his change was so sudden its like someone hit him on the head with a cast iron skillet...kind of scarey. If you are bored at work like me, i reccomend reading the history of posts that he's involved in. i daresay its better that any reality TV show!
