Hi peeps,
using #bot create [name] [class (id)] [race (id)] [model (male/female)]
I am encountering a problem.
EQ freezes, ie I can't attack, cast but can stay in game and wander around, bit like being LD. Also, the bot is not created.
I have never had this issue before, so has thrown me a little. Just wondering if my syntax is wrong?
#bot create Grumpyheal 2 8 male
That should create a male dorf cleric named Grumpyheal?
I understand there is an external application that can also be used to create bots. I have had a quick poke around but uncovered it yet. Anyone able to point me in the right direction please:)?
Many thanks.

creating a bot is different from spawning a bot. #bot spawn nnnnnn
make sure you have your map files installed
make sure mysql is working
Your create command looks fine.

Mysql is working fine.
Maps are correctly installed.
Quests are correctly installed.
Using latest svn, 361_bots.
I even reinstalled the whole shebang, resourced db ect.
Quests work, spells work. Everything appears to run ok, except when I try to create bot(s). The application freezes, then have to Ctrl Alt Delete to unlock it, sometimes I even have to reboot.
Had a quick look thro logs, found a few error messages, dont think they are related to bot creation, but you never know!

For some reason, these files do not exist on my lash up.
Anyway, if I can't create bots, I can't summon them.
Any ideas / suggestions are most welcome. Somewhat of a strange occurance
Also, is there any external application which I can create bots with?
Many thanks:)

I don't see anything in those logs that would prevent you from creating bots. There's a new version available for download, maybe try it. 384.

Plugged in 384, problem still persists.
One thing I just noticed that there is no bot table in db.

Ok, seems okay now.
Just resourced following files.
328_bot_management.sql
botinventory.sql
botleader.sql
bots.sql
botsowners.sql
