EMU server auth bug

When I try and log into my server (when i have world.exe and 5 zone9x.exe- from load5zones.bat running) bad things happen. I can get to the character select screen just fine, but after that, when I hit enter world, one of two things happens-- because of the same problem I think. One is my zone9x.exe will get an illegal opperation and it will close, sending me back to the char. select screen, or I will sit at that beautiful EverQuest screen for a few minutes until I get booted back to the Server select screen. My friend Nefarious told me that I had to set the auth. in the EQemu admin tool, but neither of us could find out how. The error i get in zone9x.exe says
getauth: GetAutherization = 0 char = blabla

0.2.3 does NOT work with latest patch..

My friend has 1.0.19 and 0.2.3 and I play on his server all the time---- anyway will that work when the new version comes out?

ok,, make sure minilogin is running, you may not have had it up, also, make sure boot5zones.win9x.bat is pointing to the IP 127.0.0.1 which is your local machine, try that ...
