Download a copy of BitDefender standard 8.0. It's shareware, but is fully functional for 30 days. This happens to be one of the only anti-virus progs that successfully remove the win32.jeefo.A virus, and a few other really hard to tackle virii ...

Good luck with that.

http://www.bitdefender.com/ <- go here to download

http://www.bitdefender.com/scan/licence.php <- go here to scan your system online, free (recommended before you download)

Another free-online scan (which I recommend you use in conjunction with bitdefender, just to be thoroughly safe) would be Trend Micro's Housecall:

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/hous...start_corp.asp

If you look around on Trend Micro's site, you will notice a "Install the Trend Housecall button in my browser" so you just have to click the logo up top in IE to launch the online scanner. Note: Trend's Housecall scanner is only for an extra measure of safety, as it doesn't clean the virus hardly ever, but it is good at identifying them.

I follow the link to scan , click agree , and in the Target Selection box i get "Failed to load interface -- You must have administrative rights on this computer; you also must have the Internet Explorer security settings to the Medium level. " wtf? my security settings are at medium.. and i know nothing about admin rights.

Are you the only one who uses your comp? If not the other users may have disabled certain access rights to you.
