Quest: Scouting Gloomingdeep : cannot complete

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong place to post this.

I'm using the gloomingdeep quests from the repository, and am having a problem with the Scouting Gloomingdeep quest. I have tried on multiple characters and the second part of the quest, "Head south until ya spys da main pit Dig Site" One" seems impossible to complete. Dig Site Two is the huge pit, I've walked characters all over the pit and surrounding room to no avail.

Anyone have a clue as to how this may be resolved?
