Default EQ Admin error

I've searched through many posts trying to find this one out but to no avail. When loading EQAdmin 4.7 I get an error of sorts...I HAVE gone to the preferences screen and changed name, pwd, db name, and host information but it still spits this out.

Exception:tblNPCTypes:Field 'name' not found.
The admin tool wasn't able to connect to database 'eq' at host localhost. Please go to preferences dialog and set username, password, database, and host values.

I am using MySQL 4.0.1.2.

Should I just do a clean install of the db?

Did you try using your IP instead of localhost?

Double check your username/passwords everywhere, make sure you didnt put a space after them.

Yeah I've tried 127.0.0.1, localhost, and 192.168.2.100 all coming up with the same error. I think it's my bloody router(Linksys cable/dsl router with 4 port switch) that's causing the connection issues but I can't figure out whats up with the 'field' issue. Been searching through the forums but haven't found anything on it yet.

What that error is telling you , is that EqAdmin can't find the field = "name" in the table = "NPC_Types".
Check you DB sqls under NPC_Types and make sure the field is there.
Are you certain you have the correct DB for the version you are trying to use it with?

I'm trying to source all of the .sql files that came with the 0.5.0 emu. It's odd because under the NPC tab I can see the NPC Type field. Will 86 it and start over. Any suggestions as to which(if any) order I should source the 24 .sql files that came with 0.5.0? And should I add the items/books.zip SQLs?

Have been looking for posts with similar issues but haven't found any solution as of yet.

Am using the newest minilogin, FQadmin 4.7, and 0.5.0 emu.

Thanks

Default .

i havent changed my DB in a while so i dont know if this is right but i thought you only had to use 2 .sql files. the DB.sql and reloaddb.sql. if you put everything in twice could it get rid of something? im not too smart with this so its might be wrong
