Problem Loggin in, Not Pword related

After i type in my username and password it says

"Logging into the Sever. Please Wait..."

It says that forever and doesn't stop...

I can still move my mouse and end up Alt-F4 but it never gets past the connecting screen. I haven't see the servers yet.

I double checked my host file and it was fine...

i assume you talking about me being patched to live...

I was under the impression that i would still be able to see some servers that were live compatable... at least thats what i understood the main page to say.

ATM i can not even get to the server list.

Make sure your eqhost.txt points to eqemulator.net:5996 for live compatible login server.

I'm getting the same thing. I type my password and Login info, and it just says Logging onto Login Server... or whatever it says. Funny, because last night it worked just fine. Any help?

I really beg to differ here do a search yourself please.

5.8 IS COMPATABLE WITH LIVE there is even a 5.8 test server up and running.

Its on the first page of eqemulator.net if you dont beleive me.

The instructions for getting your client to play is a little different than usual with the reactivation process but its all laid out all you hav eto do is follow the steps and your in.

Don't know what sotonin was saying up there ive never seen a reason to differ with him mabe I misunderstood.

Well when you login you never know who's characters you're going to get, Its not very operable, only one almost ghost server...ehh.. can't really play on there. And so many people are having problems with getting on....

Granted its got alot of beta problems but I stand by what I said.

You can play eqemu with live patch as of now.
