eqgame.exe question

I followed all the instructions, but the eqgame.exe part where you rename it to eqgame.exe patchme... it wont allow me to type patchme into it.... it says something about invalid something or another. Also the part where you are supposed to type it in on my computer is target, not destination. It is located to the everquest eqgame.exe, I just cant add the patchme part. Anyone know how to fix this?

first of all you need to tell us did you patch becuse i dont think 0.5.9. DR2 is compatible with live got to my web to find out more

The patchme problem is because I am going to assume you are running Windows 2000 and it puts targets in quotes, so what you have is "X:/Everquest Directory/eqgame.exe" and you are trying to put the patchme inside of the quotes. "X:/...../eqegame.exe patchme" does not work you would have to do "X:/..../eqgame.exe" patchme... I am only assuming thats the problem so if you aren't runnin an OS that quotes it than let me know :P

From what you said it makes me thing your trying to rename the file to eqgame.exe patchme. If thats the case it will not let oyu rename the file that because its invalid. Try rightclicking on the .exe and going to properties then where it says target you need to add patchme to the end of it that is probly what your problem is i'm not sure what exactly you did but if you did infact try to rename the file thats your problem right there.
