Default AA Experience in Live?

Hey there. I'm using the Axclassic database, just hit 51 and set my exp to full AA.

I killed mob in Old Sebilis, and realized that I literally got about the same amount of exp in my AA bar that I'd get in my normal bar if I had zero percent of my experience going to my AA's.

I checked the Rule_values table and sure enough, it was set so that the exact same amount of exp was required to gain an AA point as was required to go from level 51-52. It's been 5+ years since I played live religiously, but I don't seem to recall it being like that at all.

I changed the AA multiplier to 10, and found that to be much more along the lines of what I remember... 3-4 kills in a group for a yellow bubble of AA Xp. Is this right? Am I giving myself too much AA Xp?

The way I remember it is each aa was the same exp as level 51. Later eq live did some normalizations to make the first 100 or so aa's require less exp, with the curve increasing the more aa's you aquired, with I believe the amount of exp being equal with lvl 51 after some 1000 aa's or so....Something along those lines...Then they adjusted it again...

Not sure how accurate this info is but here goes..

You have no idea how long I googled for this information and searched EQ, Eqemu and axclassic forums trying to find this information.. Thank you.

Well, it seems like on a private server there's no way to really emulate the "decline" in xp as you accrue AA's.

I'm not sure what the best way to resolve this is, but I definitely don't think that a level 51 character with 100% of their xp going towards AA's should take just as long to get one AA point as they would to go from 51-52. I think I'll leave it as is, and if the gain in AA's becomes too fast as I both level and gain AA's, I'll reduce the AAxpmultiplier option in the database.

Thanks!
