Default NPCs Showing up as human

ok so i have a massive quest I am writing, which is using new npcs. However, no matter the tool i use (straight sql, peq editor, eoc, ingame with #spawn command) it doesnt matter what race value im inputing the npcs are showing up as human male.

the begining takes place in glooming deep, and Should show as a goblin, I even copied rookfyn and it shows up as a male human(and i can;t seem to change the name)

any suggestions would be awesome(alot of the links in the forums to various help are broken also, quest commands, races etc)

This could be your client. Most zones have to have the model associated with the zone on the client side. There is a file for that zone that has to have the model included. Do a search for "karana missing models".

most non humanoid models require a gender of neutral to display correctly

Here, read this link:

http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/arc...p/t-17993.html

You will need to edit the zone file on the client side that corresponds to this file name:

"Zone name"_chr.txt

An easy way to do this also is to open a _chr.txt file of a zone that has the models you want and just copy and paste them in. You may have to do some digging to figure out the actual model "reference names".

Also Model Codes from the wiki:
