Default Question about getting this to work

Scratch what i wrote before... Problem was I didnt have dirextx9

But now I am having a problem with logging in. I get to the account sign in screen but it just stays at the trying to connect part forever... Changed my eqhost.txt file as instructed... Any help would be appreciated.

after you've edited your eqhost.txt you simply make a shortcut to eqgame.exe.
You got ta haves the patchme after it. This is in the target box - example. In the target box -
"C:\Program Files\EQEmu\eqgame.exe" patchme

theres an example pic if you cant get it still.

You don't need to download anything unless you want to make your own server.

Yea I did all that. It bypasses the patch and everything. Just when I go to type in login and pass... it says trying to connect forever and never goes beyond that.

ok, either the loginserver is down which it isnt atm or the loginserver.ini is incorrect.
Open loginserver.ini - its in your eq directory - and replace the IP with the eqemulator one

my eq folder only contains an eqhost.txt file that has the login thing in it. There is no loginserver.ini file in my folder.
