Free EQLive.

They're such sweetiepies.

How about a patch for their XCP DRM rootkit, eh?

But I do have good news.

I just saved loads of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

The division of sony that runs EQ had nothing to do with the rootkit, leave them alone.

I don't really care.
They trashed their already-not-so-good name.
They'll suffer the consequences.

Unhappy

Well, I just played EQ for the first time in over a year. I've been really wanting to ever since I stopped; for some reason, I always hated the grind and the fact that it started at like level 30! But every time I stopped, I discovered that I missed it. . .

Anyway, as I said, I just logged onto EQ for the first time in over a year. I decided to try SoD.

Well, first off, let me say that SoD is incredible! The amount of effort put into the game world is just astounding! That said, however, I just don't find EQ fun anymore. It has nothing to do with the SoD crew, it's the core gameplay of EQ that I no longer like.

I can't wait for WoW to get some non-private emulation set up so that I can play with one of their servers, but until then, I think I'm gonna stick with Blizzard's WoW.

Maybe, once EQII emulation os at a workable point, I'll give it a try, but until then, I'm done with EQ.

It's just not fun for me anymore.

This is good for some of you, but keep in mind that you should backup your EQ directory, so you do not patch to live on mistake.
