Default where can i find perl 5.10

Where can I find Perl 5.10. I have scoured the internet looking for it, but have only found version of it that don't come with an install. I am very new to this, so i could use some pointers on getting this to work. (the main problem I am having is the compiling if i use other versions). Thank you with much thanks.

You can get version 5.10 of this, but it may not work. I haven't personally tried it. http://strawberryperl.com/

You cannot get version 5.10 of ActiveState anymore. You can use 5.12, but you will need to search in the source code for "perl510" and change both places to "perl512" in order to compile successfully.

OR

just rename the perl512.dll to perl510.dll after you install it.

I need it. You can't use these instructions without 5.1 , so i would think this would be a bigger deal

It really isn't that big a deal. 5.12 works fine, is available, and requires 2 small edits to the source code to work. Now, if 5.14 was all that was available then it might be a problem.
