Default Trying to make a personal server....Having troubles...

Hi I'm new to this whole server side of the game.....And I'm trying to figure out how to get this all to work......I've been following the guides etc, But some of the files stated can not be found mainly the very first file from the Wiki how to guide.....along with trying all of the other guides that were stickied on the forums....but no matter what, I get no where and stuck with a bunch of random files all over to hell and I have been following the "guides" to a T the login server wont boot gives me some type of error I'm about to do a fresh re-install of everything and post what errors I get any pointers tips or tricks to getting this right would be awesome thanks

That particular revision of the PEQ database is out of date.
If you've compiled the latest EQEmu from the SVN repo then you should download the latest database as well.

yeahi have all of that but i have no build folder......I got to a poaint where i got everything "some what" working but when i try to launch the server from the startup.bat it gives me a world.exe error perl58.dll is missing ( even tho i have perl installed ) and the loginserver just crashes ... no error msg etc I'm running a win 7 ultimate i7 2600k 8 gig ram geforce 460gtx 700w PS and a MSI mother board

Did you compile EQEmu yourself, or are you using precompiled binaries?

I'm thinking its precomplied but no to sure because I've done nothing in Visual C++

*edit* when i went threw and compiled the server i got a 1 succeed and 5 failed and every guide ive looked at said you only have 5 succeed and nothing more

I have a little bit of time tonight-tomarrow.
If you PM me a google talk or yahoo IM we can connect and I can walk you through everything.
My record so far is 45min over yahoo msg to walk someone from nothing working to a server being online.
I'll provide you with all the files you need via link to official site and have a sticky list of the most common issues with the fixs.
