Default Admin tool -- Tutorial?

Just wanted to send some Kudos to Windcatcher for the awesome admin tool.

Now, where can I find a tutorial on how to use it? I thought last night by looking at it, that it was pretty self explanitory, but it doesnt seem to matter what I change, I'm not seeing any changes on my server. (Yes, I started the zones I changed..)

Help a noob, thump me on the head and get my brain started today! :p

Im pretty sure you have to have server up and have a char online for it to take changes. Then reboot the server and changes will show. The only thing i know of that dont work is to make an effect have a proc during combat, i havent been able to get it to work.

Having your server up won't help. Just make sure your database settings are correct in the admin, you're hitting "apply", and try rebooting the world as well as the zones when making changes.

yes, the database server is COMPLETELY seperate from the emu, and the admin tool works directly with the db server, so you shouldn't need any emu stuff running to edit it.
