View Full Version : Playing on 5.0 servers and the patcher

I'm tired of repeating myself, so this is the last time I'm going to post this. If anyone asks again I'm going to delete their post for being a complete idiot and not reading.

The steps to play on a 5.0 server:
1. Patch to live.
2. Change your eqhost.txt file
3. Play

Its that simple if you have questions related to changing your eqhost file, try something new and actually READ the guides from the main page.

Now to the EQEmu patcher. RIGHT NOW ITS USELESS, YOU DO NOT NEED IT. Stop posting threads about how you cant play emu because you cant figure out a simple program, because its totally unnecessary and only needed when SOE changes something that breaks the emu.

Nuff said.

No its the 5.0 servers that are current with the Eqlive patch. Thats why eddie said the patcher was useless right now. Its made to downgrade patches. But Sony hasnt patched yet...

They did yesterday... And it adds an extremely odd function... An auto conning system of sorts... If they would con blue, a blue aura appears around their name and under their feet, and so on...

It helps quite a bit in pking you can con people as you run by them..

eqlive patch today breaks eqemu until the next minor fix. It's not a huge deal, but no dates will be given.

Devs need free time. Devs need to get laid too.
