Hook your computer up to your toaster...I hear it gets better speed and is more reliable than AoL. Now that I think about it I think toasters have better customer support too  .

Access4Less, giving my gf unlimited dialup at $4.95/mo with 2 email addresses, 15 local numbers (only 3 with V92, but they're the big haulers), and no contracts (monthly billing). The main reason we are switching to this access is because it's not proprietary to Windows or Macintosh. She needs linux access because she doesn't have the money to buy Windows.

Who the heck buys windows?
Its the easiest progy to copy in the world, sure they narrowed it down from being able to be installed on every computer to just ever other computer but it is by no means expensive.
I've been windows paying FREE since 1997
God Bless America
and.....
Thank God for China
(else we wouldn't have any goods - 85% of the stuff in my house was made there - does the US even manufacture anything anymore? oh oh - My waterheater was made in the USA)
ISP? -
Call them all barter with them if they want your cash they'll cut you a deal, there is simply too much competition for you to settle for crappy prices. Thanks to the tech boom.

When you don't buy Windows, and you change Windows XP's hardware without a valid corporate license, it fries itself. Using linux, I can grab the files, but the OS is hosed. I won't install it again because a: I don't like stealing and b: I won't buy Windows. When they lock them down more and more, you will find that you are all paying for it in the future.
Why install Windows at all?

Why use windows?
it is easy to use. more games available for it at retail stores.
Why use linux?
More Stable, most games can be played with some work, more professional tools for networking/server admin, and FREE.
Why use mac?
You are an artist, or it is what you have always used.
I use both window and linux but have nothing against mac, just never had any need for it.

Yea Earthlink is a pretty good dialup service. I'd go with them unless you find something better
