Windows 95 ?

thier any way to play EMU with win 95 ?
cant get directx 8.1 or anything to patch live.
any way around this for use with emu only ?

need soem sort of eq..
any ideas/ help or am i just screwed with windows 95 ?
looked around in the forums and such, didnt find anything
saying emu cant use 95. but if its up to speed with live, shaft ?

hmmm, try to update to win98 ? 'cause windows 95 is really out of date ???

PS: i've tried running Everquest on a 450MHz AMD K62 Machine with Win98se and 256mb Ram and a Geforce2mx car....it sucks...

ya, i need to upgrade this cpu, but cant currently, just moved and $$ is tight as hell, was hoping there was some way i could play on this fossil

You don't have to upgrade the cpu to upgrade the os?
