Would It be illegal to do a server based on warhammer world ? Since EQemu is free it would be much like a fan website exept you can interact no :P ?

It all depends on the company..

In the past, Games Workshop has been pretty cool about such stuff, so I doubt they'd mind..

I'd like to see more people creating servers based on something OTHER than Everquest.. It's alot of work, but the potential for some really fun worlds is vast!

I'm curently working on a basic world , around 16 zones. The story behind it will be the dark omen story , although you can't have 'huge' warhammer battle with EQ engine , some big battle should be present via quest or GM events. Expect Von carstein return soon :P !

I'd suggest emailing them and shooting the idea their way. Get an exact response on what their stance would be prior to spending time working on the server.
