help please, having troube with EQW

hello, i did alot tonight, i downloaded eqw, and eqemu, i set up all of the server stuff with sql and all, i got to where when i log on with eqw i get to server select, pick a server, and it says "eq has caused error in unknown" bla bla, it never gets to character select screen. Was wondering if anyone could possibly help me get this fixed, or maybe download a newer version of eqw. Just for a FYI, i have been playing eq for 2 1/2 years and just got bored of the regular game and lookin for more (not that it matters, but just to get to know me more i guess =) )

ill be on AIM if someone can get a hold to me please post reply, i have everyone on block but certain people so give me your AIM S/N, i have shawn3319 unblocked becasue i see he is on and one of the head guys =P

I dont use AIM too much hehe.

eqgame crashes sometime (happens to me too). just close everything and try again (maby even restart).

I had the same problem running EQW on win2k. I had to use 32 bit color instead of 16 bit like the EQW doc says. Works fine for me in 32 bit color

ahh your right, i had to change resolution/and bit.. works fine now. =) thank you
