Well, I've gotten this far only to find that I get the following messages in my zone screen after users enter my server:

Couldn't read/find ./cfg/kaladima.cfg. <returning -1>
Corrupt <or nonexistant> zhdr file ./cfg/kaladima.cfg -- fread count = -1 <should be 214>

Using default zone header data...
.................
[Status] Zone Bootup: kaladima <60>
......................
[Status] Zone Shutdown: kaladima <60>

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Make a new cfg file....

Go to another zone, load the default cfg, zsave it as the one you need:

#zheader
#zsave kaladima

Well, that's part of the problem. When others log in their new chars, they start in other zones. Got the same message for rivervale etc...

Where should I research?
zsave
default cfg files
making cfg files
my database

??? thanks

if your cfg folder in the same directory as your zone.exe?

That was the solution...no cfg folder in the world.exe directory. Sheesh, what else did I miss? I did great up to this point, only one posted question before this dumb question. Anyway, server comes up and no zone errors, but users getting kicked upon entering starting zone......~thunk thunk thunk~ research!

Thanks for the help!
