Can someone please post a (Converting 4.4DB to a 5.1DB)

I have a perfectly good 4.4 database but I can't seem to ge it working with 5.0 or 5.1 even after sourceing a bunch of stuff mentioned on this message board.

Please can someone post a Step By step (Idiot Proof) Guide to updating a 4.4 Database to a 5.0 or 5.1 Database.
