Crashing after character select

First of all, I have scanned the forums and used search.

This happens to me on Fish-Wolf and Scorpious 2k and other 0.5.2 servers. When I am at the character select screen, select character, pressed Enter World and it goes to the EverQuest loading bannar thing, so far, so good. Then about a minute to five minutes, yes random, the music abruptly cuts off. After that it has the EverQuest loading bannar for about 15 seconds then the screen darkens and it loads off.

I tried to go step by step as much as possible since I really have no other information on it, but it is causing me not to be able to play on about half of the servers that are up and it is getting a tad bit frustrating since it is every single time I try to log in nowadays. Would greatly appreciate any help since I couldn't find information on this problem anywhere on the forums. I am patched to live and have never had any problems before.

this could be because that zone that you tried to enter in is currently not working or might be restricted to non-admins and if thats happening to you on 0.5.2. servers than that might be it because 0.5.2. is in dr-2 stage so it isnt going to run 100% like some of the other servers

I see what you mean, but how come other people can get into the servers? Up to 10-20+ on some, so it must be me, but I have up to date files to soe.

There is a problem with some dial-up users.

Also on the Scorpious2k server, some old (4.4) players are crashing because the new items db is missing items they have in inventory. We are working on that problem.
