New Chat Window?

Does anyone know how to open a New chat window? Or is it not possible? I'm tryed of seeing all the melee blur in the main window when people are trying to talk to me.
I've tryed rioght clicking the window, hitting- atl+(a-z),Ctrl+(a-z), & Shift+(a-z) and still no luck. Any help would be great.

Right click on the title or border of your main chant window and there is an option there to open a new chat window.
